The Taoba International Youth Film Festival is set to return for its seventh edition, taking place in the historic city of Kutaisi from September 20 to 26, 2024. As the largest youth film festival in the region, Taoba continues to provide young audiences with a unique platform to engage with cinema, participate in discussions, and learn from industry professionals.
Kutaisi, one of the oldest cities in the world, is known for its rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere. This year, the festival will bring together young participants from Georgia and abroad, transforming the city into a hub of cinematic creativity.
The festival program includes 31 short films and 11 feature-length films, carefully selected for young audiences. Screenings, discussions, masterclasses, and networking opportunities will take place in various locations across the city, including the Akaki Tsereteli State University Multifunctional Center, Cinema Sakartvelo, and public spaces like I. With all festival events free of charge, Taoba continues its mission of making film culture accessible to young people and fostering a new generation of film enthusiasts.
